A quaint little mistake, quite harmless: FLIM instead of FILM. Subtle, yet evocative of an age when sheep herders and boom operators discussed mountain winds and ambient noise pickup. Or maybe not.
Here’s something for everyone (that wants to make flims):
Celtx – free scriptwriting/media pre-production software for Windows, OS X, and Linux.

Hey Hish, I had lost the scriptwriting software I used when my laptop crashed, so I’ll certainly give this one a go. I need a replacement.
Cheers

Looks quite complete! I continue to be surprised by community project and how they now compete directly and very well with commercial applications. I use a whole open source applications for the office and have saved an awful lot of money for doing so while not losing on productively at all: OpenOffice, SugarCRM, SMEserver and now hopefully this to add to the arsenal. It was a pain doing a storyboard but with this it looks like a doodle.
Thanks again for suggesting it.
