Two liner movie reviews
By hisham
I’ve yet to fill up the 600Gb of storage in my HTPC, but so far I have around fifty flicks from 11:14 to V for Vendetta.
Here’s a few one two liner reviews on some I’ve seen. _Caveat emptor: pretty old stuff for all you savvy moviegoers.

11:14
Very good. If you’ve seen Crash and loved it, watch 11:14. Impeccable performance by Swank.
_The Corporation (Documentary)
_ Wonderful, revealing. Even if your only action as an economic agent is buying soap, watch it.
Crash
Not Cronenberg’s disappointment from 1996, but Haggis’ 2004 treat. Great writing, flawless DP, superb performances by all.
_Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World
_ Deadpan humor with a cause. Commendable effort by Al “The intellectual’s Woody Allen” Brooks. Culture clash incidents could’ve been way better though.
White Noise
Direction could’ve been better. Surprising twist in the end for the protagonist played by Keaton. Still missable though.
The Wind Will Carry Us
It’s a Kiarostami, so brace yourselves for symbolism galore.
V for Vendetta
Brit comics + Wachowskis + Great Acting. Need I say more? Weaving excels. Portman shines. The sets though are a bit lacking.
